The 31-year-old Tunisian striker joins Udinese for free as his contract with Lokeren expires at the end of this season. Harbaoui, who holds a Belgian passport, will not take up a non-EU place on the squad list.
El Harbaoui managed to score four goals in his last appearance for the Belgian side which encapsulates his great season. He managed to finish the season with 12 goals in 16 appearances.
“Udinese Calcio announces that it has signed Hamdi Harbaoui, born in Bizerte on January 5, 1985 and holder of a Belgian passport,” Udinese confirmed in a statement on their official website.
El Harbaoui, who started his career with Esperance, will look to end his career on a high with the Zebrette after spending most of his career in Belgium.
