KingFut had revealed a few days ago that the club have opened negotiations for the player, finally coming to an agreement to sign the 24-year-old, with Zamalek board member Ahmed Mortada Mansour later confirming the deal and revealing the details of the move.
The player had arrived in Switzerland on Monday morning to undergo his medical tests on the same day as well as Tuesday, prior to the announcement by FC Basel. The player has signed a four-year contract with the RotBlau.

Gaber is set to join his new club when the summer transfer window opens in a few weeks, after spending all his career in the White Castle, since he was just five years old.
