Alex McLeish’s agent has denied all claims of problems between his client and the club.
According to media reports, McLeish had left today’s training session and told the players that he would not interact with them tactically in the coming period, something which Jon McLeish denied to KingFut.
“Not true, 100% not true. Why would he do that? You need to ask that,” Jon exclaimed.
“He will report for his job as normal until someone tells him not to, that is normal for anyone with a contract. Someone from club is trying to tell you something that is not true. You believe everything you hear?
“He has a contract so he is still there. Today he assessed the new coaches in a small game at training. He never said he wouldn’t leave all tactical things to others. I think maybe someone is looking to change his words,” McLeish continued.
A lot of rumors have circulated around Alex McLeish’s future in the White Castle, after club president Mortada Mansour had fired assistant Frank Nuttal, hiring Gamal Abdel-Hameed and Mohamed Helmy as replacements.
“He will continue as normal anyway and I’m sure people of Gamal’ss experience can try and improve the performances of the players,” Jon concluded.
